succulent and tender meat
We have a flock of approximately 100 North Country Mule ewes which we cross with a Texel ram giving us great quality lean, succulent and tender meat all year round. We usually lamb in late March and keep the ewes and lambs in the barn until they have bonded. Once old enough, they are let out into fields at Noah’s Ark to enjoy the spring grass. We sell the lambs at the farmers’ markets and provide a large variety of joints and cuts as well as lamb and mint burgers and several flavours of sausages including spicy lamb and lamb and rosemary, available with or without garlic.
